Ed joined the Navy at age 17, upon completion of an intense two-year Naval training program. In this talk he reviews early submarine history and then recalls his journey across the country, to his adventure as a Navy Propulsion Trained Electrical Operator(Navy Nuke!) serving on the U.S.S.Billfish stationed out of New London, CT.
