My Grandfather and Albert Einstein

"My GrandFather and Albert Einstein," told by Ron Rothman, along with Joan Brill's  recollections of the stories, have become legendary on Eastern Long Island. Ron will retell some of the stories about the unique relationship between Albert Einstein and his Grandfather David Rothman, including the real story about Einstein's Sandals.  He will relay the Anecdotes and diary footnotes that give insight about the man who befriended Einstein during the summer of 1939.These anecdotes tell of the time that Einstein spent  that summer, which he said was one of the best of his life and owed it to David Rothman's initiative. The stories are interesting, and Ron does a wonderful job of conveying the essence of this unique relationship.
