The Stony Brook Medicine Healthy Libraries Program in partnership with dietetic interns from the Nutrition Program will present on how a balanced diet can promote healthy aging. This presentation will explore  the profound impact of nutrition on the process of healthy aging. What are the nutritional needs as we get older? Emphasizing the nutrients that support well-being. Discover the components of balanced diet, portion control and the role of hydration in maintaining vitality. We will also address how nutrition plays a vital role in preventing age related conditions and offer easy recipes and practical tips on meal planning.
