NIGHT OF THE RED MOON: Late on the night of March 13th, 2025, the Moon will gradually transform into an eerie glowing globe that will resemble a Japanese Lantern hanging in the sky. An eclipse of the Moon is a dramatic natural event which has been described in records going back for centuries in many civilizations. Accurate prediction could then command power and prestige. Coming on the heels of the dramatic total eclipse of the Sun this past April, we’re going to get a chance to watch as our nearest neighbor in space becomes temporarily diminished as a Total Eclipse of the Moon will take place. Here in the Northeast US, during the overnight hours, the Full Moon will move high across our sky and pulls a fade-out as it becomes immersed into the Earth’s shadow. In this presentation we’ll provide all the details on how to best prepare for this remarkable celestial sight.
