​Laws begin with our ideas. We elect our representatives to craft our ideas into bills or resolutions and create the laws that we as a democratic society will live by. There are many steps in the life cycle of a bill. Not all ideas become law. Some bills can take many years of discussion and amending before they are enacted (passed) into law, or perhaps even  voted on. This session will help you understand how a bill becomes a law and provide you with tools to follow the various steps in the process.
