Event Details

Master Gardeners Deb Kimmelman and Linda L Carlson will introduce workshop participants to winter sowing, an effective technique for gardeners who do not have a greenhouse or cold frame and who want to grow hardy annuals, herbs, and perennials. This is a hands-on workshop: potting soil and seeds will be provided, but each participant should bring one clean, gallon-size milk jug. This event is sponsored with support from the North Fork Suffolk Alliance for Pollinators (NFSAP) and Cornell Continuing Education-Suffolk (CCE-Suffolk).
