Upcoming Events

We will read a lemonade story, make a bubble wrap lemonade craft, create lemon playdough, and enjoy a cup of lemonade together! *This program will be held in the Pocket Park under the tent.

Enjoy the story “Little Blue and Little Yellow” and then re-enact the story by making a sensory bag with shaving cream and food coloring. Lastly, we will create a green grasshopper with popsicle sticks and pipe cleaners to take home.

Come in and cool off to watch a colorful Reading Rainbow episode. Walk around the community room “parking lot” and pick out the car you want to sit in! Please bring your own drink. Light snacks will be provided.

Create your own “flavor” of ice cream dough using baking soda, hair conditioner, and Kool-Aid packets as well as colorful sprinkles to play ice cream store with and then take home! This program combines science and imagination all in one!

We will read bird stories, play a “Feed the Bird a Worm” game, and create a family of bluebirds in a cozy paper plate nest. We will munch on blueberries for a treat at the program's end. *This program will be held in the Pocket Park unde

This class includes music and props that coordinate to explore primary colors red, blue, and yellow as a way to move angrily, sadly, and joyfully.

It’s Donut Day!  We will read some stories, create a paper donut with sprinkles, and then go on a Donut Scavenger Hunt with a sweet treat reward!  *This program will be held in the Pocket Park under the tent.

Little ones will enjoy an hour of free play with sensory toys, parachutes, and tunnels borrowed from our Suffolk County Library System!

Listen to the classic story and then make a yarn art project inspired by the book. Lastly, we will make a lavender soap foam sensory bin all together to play with! *This program will be held in the Pocket Park under the tent.
