Endometriosis

Endometriosis, a distressing and debilitating medical condition which causes painful menstrual cramps, heavy or irregular periods, and which sometimes can affect fertility, impacts up to an estimated 10% of women between the ages of 15 and 45. Dr. Jennifer. M. Blaber, a minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon and Clinical Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Stony Brook Medicine, will explain the possible causes, risk factors, symptoms, diagnosis and treatment options which can provide relief for many women.
